Sleepy Hollow

Awesome. Is this the only Sleepy Hollow Disneyland album, or is there another?

More Sleepy Hollow

Doug - There are a couple other records which were at least based on Disney's story. There is an LG and I think two Decca's. There may be others as well.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

This is one of my favorite stories of all time, and Disney actually comes very close to the spirit of the book. This recording takes me back to those bright October afternoons, as I looked forward to the big day on the 31st. I had this record for many years, and I knew every word. Even when I watch the movie now -- which I love -- I never fail to make a mental note that the version of Brahm Bones' song that Bing Crosby sings is different than the version that Thurl Ravenscroft sings.
Even having the record for all those years, I'm not sure I EVER listened to the Rip Van Winkle story...until just now. I had no idea that this version projected Rip so much farther into the future. Very interesting.

Thanks Dave!

Sleepy Hollow

Brilliant! I got this album around Halloween 1973 while living in Los Angeles. Was my favorite for years and at 40 something still know all the words. I still have the LP but don’t have an LP player anymore so to be able to hear it again is great (and to let my kids hear the headless horseman song and know I didn’t make it up :)

I had this record when i was
