My video review of this read-along
This was an interesting entry in Disney's "generic fairy tale" read-alongs. I like the UPA-influenced artwork. It's also worth noting that in 1987, after Disney discontinued all the vinyl read-alongs (including this one), they actually made a new version of this and some of the other fairy tale read-alongs, reusing the same illustrations, but with updated covers and newly-created narration and songs on cassette tape, under the "Disney Presents Your Favorite Fairy Tales" banner.
