Thurl Ravenscroft and No Pirates Life For Me?
Amazing to hear the ending songs with deep voiced by Thurl Ravenscroft (known for "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch") and yet there was no "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates Life For Me." That song has become so beloved and famous to its fans. I guess, being made in 1970 (not more than a year after the ride opened in California), they really didn't have a chance to get a feel for the production or what would be memorable! Just this rexord alone is a neat little time capsule at a pivotal point in Disney history.
